The Shulman Studio for Artistic Photography was established out of true love for both art and photography.
The studio specializes in photography of pregnant women, infants, children, families, Bat Mitzvah Books, and newborn Babies. In order to produce the superior results we are known for, the studio employs advanced photography equipment, a feminine and maternal approach, and a unique artistic perspective which is the result of my rich experience as an artist and as owner of a graphic design and photography studio. All photo sessions are conducted in a pleasant atmosphere abound with smiles and love for the profession.

Maternal Photography - When I photograph pregnant women, it is important for me to emphasize the sensations you experience during this magical period. It's a maternal photo session that takes place in a pleasant atmosphere and natural environment, with ongoing care for your own feeling and comfort. The session is held in private or in presence of your spouse, mother, good friend, or even older brothers, if any exist. I will continuously advise you regarding dress, makeup, and postures, with special emphasis on the attainment of flattering pregnancy shots, both feminine and soft, that emphasize your beautiful impregnated belly and the relationship between you and the fetus inside it.

The session is abound with a femininity, humor and fun, allowing us to produce exceptionally romantic shots with a mild and flattering lighting backdrop. Photo sessions may be held in our private Carmel Center studio or outdoors. While studio sessions offer a wide variety of backgrounds, lighting options, advanced photography equipment, fabrics and accessories which together create the perfect setting for maternal photography of varying styles, outdoor locations offer unlimited choice of either rural or urban surroundings and the magic of natural light. The best photos are then processed on Photoshop for that added special touch, producing flawless images including b/w images, selective coloring and more. You are invited to pamper yourself in a pleasant and enjoyable maternal photography experience.

You need not be a model in order to be photographed. In fact, most women who visit our studio for maternal photography sessions have never stood in front of a professional camera. I have both the knowledge and experience to help you feel comfortable from the very first clicks. I will teach you everything you need to know about postures that are right for you, together hiding all that should be hidden and emphasizing that which should not, generally directing you towards shots that present you in the most flattering manner possible. We will together commemorate those beautiful moments we encounter in the studio, forever preserving them as mementos of this special period in your life.
